Florence One has determined that I am, by definition, a school official who has legitimate educational interest in accessing and reporting student and staff data. I am aware of my obligation to respect and maintain the confidentiality of student/staff records including medical information as defined by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA), as well as meal eligibility status as defined by the National School Lunch Act (NSLA). I further understand that I have specific rights allowed by my PowerSchool login based on my job responsibilities. I will not allow anyone to access PowerSchool using my credentials nor perform any functions under my login rights.
